My favorite foods are fruit, vegetables, cottage cheese, pizza crust, pasta, nuts and monkey chow.
Fun Facts:
I'm considered the drill sergeant of the flock, since I'm always on guard and will alert others with a generous, loud squak! I enjoy performing and I'm always up for the challenge to kiss a volunteer or race someone in the ring toss! When I'm not performing I enjoy preening my bird mate Halley and I love to build nests by shredding up old phone books!

You can find my species in the Congo region of Africa.

I Like to Eat:
I love to eat just about anything as long as it's healthy for me, I don't care much for junk food.
Fun Facts:
Unlike most African Grays, I enjoy performing in front of an audience. I love to whistle and can make any kind of noise I can think of, it's fun! You may have seen me on numerous television shows such as The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. When I'm not performing, I like to pretend that I am performing and create new sounds. My favorite toys are paper cups and colorful beads.

Origin:
You wouldn't find my species in the wild because I'm a hybrid. I'm part Blue and Gold Macaw and part Scarlet Macaw, these birds are found in the rainforest in South America.

My favorite foods are fruit, vegetables, cottage cheese, pasta, nuts and monkey chow!
Fun Facts:
My favorite time of day is bath time, birds need to bath on a regular basis, no soap, just water please. I enjoy performing in the show and I love to show off by hanging on my perch by my beak, it provides a wonderful stretch for my neck. I am fun, sassy and always ready for an adventure!

I'm native to the Timor Islands off of Indonesia.

My favorite foods are peanuts, corn, and seed (I'm rather finicky about food).
Fun Facts:
I'm very smart! I love humans and always enjoy being the center of attention. I have a lot of energy, so I get my exercise by flying in the show. I also play basketball and shake hands (or claws) with someone new. When I was four months old, I appeared in the movie “Being John Malkovich” with Cameron Diaz and John Cusack! You've also seen me on “Soap Talk” and “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno”.

My favorite foods are popcorn, dried papaya, peanuts, vegetables, fruit and pasta.
Fun Facts:
I spend most of my time preening my feathers and will always take a bath when a vacuum cleaner is on. I am the oldest member of our flock and may very well live into my 80's! I love to sing in the show, as long as it doesn't interfere with my daily nap. Regardless, I rise to the occasion, my main objective in the show is to promote acceptance of different personalities and reading about parrots before bringing one home.

We are found in the rainforest of Africa.

1997 in Palos Verdes, CA
I Like to Eat:
Turacos eat only soft, mushy fruit (hey, we’re soft billed birds!). My personal favorites are papaya, mango, kiwi, grapes and bananas!
Fun Facts:
I'm not related to parrots at all! I belong to the soft bill family. Some of my relatives are the toucan and mynah birds. I enjoy being in the show and having a chance to show off my beautiful wings when I fly through the crowds. When not performing, I enjoy my outdoor aviary where I bath and preen all day!

Swainson's Toucan
Origin:
There are approximately 40 species of toucans.
Born:
Chico hatched in his homeland of Nicaragua in April of 2004.
I Like to Eat:
Chico's favorite things are papaya, taking baths and playing with all of his squeaky toys!
Fun Facts:

Swainson's Toucans are the only species of toucans still being legally imported from their native habitat.

Chico is adjusting very well to his new home and is proving to be a great traveler and showbird. Chico is intrigued by everything, including people and enjoys attention!
